Background
I was born and raised in Utah. I graduated from Woods Cross High School and then attended the University of Utah. I received my BS in Chemistry, MS in Biological Chemistry, and PharmD pharmacy degree's from the U. I then completed a PGY1 residency at the George E Whalen VA Medical Center. I currently work as a clinical pharmacist working with the neurology and neurosurgical teams at the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics.
Family
We recently became new parents! Katelyn Laura was born about 12 days before her due date so we were a little surprised. I was working that day at the hospital so that was convienient at least. She weighed 6 lbs 6 oz and was 18.5 inches long. She has already grown 1 inch and surpassed her birth weight. She is already an expert at eating and sleeping. She's a lot of work, but worth it.
We also have two cats: Oliver and Samantha. Oliver came to us via Bird World Pet Village here in Bountiful. He was a 6 week old kitten when we picked him out. He had two sisters, but we picked him because he was the most adventurous. He enjoys climbing everything he can and eating kitten treats. Samantha came to us 2 winters ago when we found her living under our deck. It took us about 4 days to coax her close enough to me to get her inside through our basement window. We didn't plan to keep her as we didn't think Oliver would accept another cat into his house, but she was so cute and Oliver adapted after about a week. They are great friends now. Samantha enjoys being an inside cat and sitting on my lap.
